We try to mix our texas hold'em events up to give the players the opportunity to enhance their game. When you play different styles of tournaments. I feel you become a better player. Shootouts are good for players that need practice in a short handed table. Heads up events are great to really shine your skills. We have 3 heads up events in the past, look for another one coming soon. I would like to know what thoughts are on the shootouts vs. tournaments for these monthly events we will be having every month from now until April.

The top 25 overall point leader event was a very tight tournament for the players. We started the field with 3 tables of eight, double stack of chips, and 20 minute blind levels. Antes were added after the third round, which made for some exciting poker action. The final table was a battle in itself. With Dan Tompkins coming out on top, and Bonnie Gould finishing 2nd. Both Dan and Bonnie with have their opportunity to play in Mountaineer Casino and Resort. We will keep you posted on how they do and when they go. The July 18th Shootout @ The American Legion was a great success. We
started with 10 tables, 97 players and a great day of No Limit Texas
Hold'em Poker.
Our 10 player Final Table ended with Ron Dambrosia coming out on top. Donny Steighner Jr. finished 2nd place after conquering his starting table. Below is the list of the 10 finalist in the order of the final table
